The Living Note
Samaritans of Singapore
Overview
In Singapore, a pressing issue persists: more than one life is lost to suicide, almost every day.
Samaritans of Singapore showcases how a note once written in despair can be transformed into a message of hope, empowering individuals to seek help and start the conversation on suicide.
This campaign, launched on World Suicide Prevention Day, tackles the sensitive yet urgent issue of suicide with the goal of breaking down the barriers of stigma and encouraging open dialogue. Jason Chua, founder of Beng Who Cooks, courageously shares his own story of a suicide attempt, rewriting his leaving note into a living note.
Through digital, social, and OOH channels, “The Living Note” is a heartfelt reminder that no one has to battle alone, offering support and the promise that it’s never too late to reach out.
